OVERVIEW
The Council's Family Tree Maker Users Group will begin in January 2022 on the first Wednesday at 1 pm on our GoToMeeting video conference service. Users can consist of any member belonging to our 30 plus member societies in the Council. Even if you are a visitor, you can join our group by sending an email to ftm@cocouncil.org with your name and email address. You will receive monthly bulletins on the upcoming classes. Classes limited to 250 users.
Bob Larson is the host and will ask different FTM experts to teach a chapter on this popular software. Even if you use Ancestry tree for creating your family tree, you may be surprised of how easy it is to connect and manage your FTM software to your Ancestry family tree or FamilySearch tree.
CLASS INFO
The Users Group will begin monthly classes and discussions starting in January 2022. Our classes will convene on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 pm using our GoToMeeting video conference service. The two-hour classes with begin with an intro by Bob followed by the instructor and any issues you are having with FTM software. The classes will be recorded for any FTM user to review later or not able to attend. The classes will review each chapter in detail using their Companion Guide and other sources to be taught by different instructors. Please see the class schedule below!
After each class, users can discuss their current problems with the software or make suggestions for new features.
We will be using only FTM2019 software. If you have an older version of FTM software, want to upgrade it, or change from another vendor's software, our users group is eligible for a discount. Pease contact Bob Larson at email: ftm@cocouncil.org
