The Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies (CCGS) is reenergizing its Speakers’ Bureau — a trusted resource for finding quality genealogical presenters throughout Colorado.

The updated Speakers’ Bureau will be more accurate, accessible, and useful for every member society.

What’s New

  • Eligibility Only presenters who are members of genealogy organizations that belong to CCGS will be listed in the Speakers Bureau.

  • Annual Updates Each presenter must update their information every year to remain active in the directory.

  • Verification Speakers Bureau Co-Coordinators Sandy Ronayne and Sylvia Tracy Doolos will verify each presenter’s eligibility with the society they represent before sending it to the webmaster.

  • Shareable Link Each CCGS society can share the submission link below so eligible presenters can easily submit or renew their listings.

Application & Renewal Process

Complete the CCGS Speakers Bureau Application/Renewal Form to be included in the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies Speakers Bureau.

Once you submit the form, the Co-Coordinators will verify your eligibility and ask you to reply with a list of your presentations as a Word or Docx document. This document will be forwarded to the CCGS Webmaster, who will convert it to PDF before adding it to the online Speakers Bureau. For those who have MACs, we allow for Docx format.

Please be sure your preferred contact information is included on your presentation list.

Why It Matters

By helping us rebuild the Speakers Bureau, you’re ensuring that program chairs across Colorado have access to reliable, engaging presenters—and that our member societies continue to shine.
